The High Institute for Infertility Diagnosis and Assisted Reproductive Technologies was established in 1990 as a center for the treatment of infertility. In 2000, it became an academic, clinical, and research institute at the postgraduate level, affiliated with the University of Baghdad and accredited by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
